We can play songs from the Hit Parades of the 1950’s and 1960’s with a sprinkling from the 1970’s as well.From Guy Mitchell’s “Heartaches by the Number” to Abba’s “Dancing Queen”.We also have a selection of songs suitable for Ball Room Dancing.All presented with a bit of chat at a comfortable volume for you and your guests!
Our suggested format for the evening could be as follows:
7.30 pm – Guests arrive to suitable background music such as Frank Sinatra or other easy listening classic songs.The music will be in the background at this stage to allow guests to chat and greet each other.
8.15 pm – “Strictly Come Dancing” – After an introduction to welcome guests to the party.Time to strike up the band with songs to Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot or Cha Cha Cha to!
8.30 pm – Buffet.Again, suitable background music can be played while your guests enjoy their food.
9.15 pm – Re-start.Welcome back all guests.If you would like to give a speech and cut the cake, this is the most suitable time to do so.After that it’s on with hits from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s.If you would like to include modern songs as well, please feel free to include them in your “Play List”.
